Established since 2012, headquartered in Cebu, Philippines, our institution has evolved into onestop maritime solutions partner delivering effective and efficient services for compliance of statutory and customized maritime regulatory requirements. In 2017 we invested huge amount of resources, time and effort to expand the institution’s operation by opening a branch in Manila.

OCEANWIDE has been authorized by the different Philippine Administration Agencies who are tasked with the implementation of the different IMO conventions and domestic laws, to act on their behalf in conducting statutory surveys as well as audits and issuing the necessary statutory certificates. It is also an STCW accredited maritime institution for the conduct of maritime training.

Quality Objective

  • To provide periodic statutory certification services in behalf of the flag Administration as an accredited MARPOL Surveyor of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and to assist the maritime industry with regards to pollution prevention.
  • To maintain as a Recognized/Registered Security Organization of the Office for Transportation Security (OTS) to provide statutory and certification services in behalf of the flag Administration, and to assist the maritime industry in promoting maritime security.
  • To provide periodic marine surveying and marine services to shipping and marine insurance industry.
  • To be accredited as a Classification Society by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) as required by the flag administration on the 4th quarter of 2022
  • To be an industry partner in delivering quality training in compliance with the accreditation given by MARINA and OTS at all times.
  • To be accredited as a Practical Assessment Center by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) on the 4th quarter of 2022
  • To exceed the trainees’ expectation in ensuring continuous development and implementation of up-to-date training programs with the highest regard to the industry standards.

    Surveys and Certifications

    As a Recognized Organization of the Administration OCEANWIDE is authorized to carry out the following services on behalf of the administration.

    MARPOL Survey for the issuance and endorsement of:

    • Oil Pollution Prevention Certificate (OPPC)
    • Sewage Pollution Prevention Certificate (SPPC) for Philippine Registered Ships.

    MARSEC Audit for the issuance and endorsement of National Ship Security Certificate (NSSC) for Philippine Registered Ships.

    Underwater Survey of Philippine Registered Ships for the issuance of a Certificate of Inspection or to extend the validity of Certificate of Inspection through underwater survey of the hrough underwater survey of the ship's integral parts which are below waterline
